River des Peres Trash Bash

Saturday, October 18, 2014, 08:00am - 01:00pm

Do your part to improve water quality by joining members of the Coalition and project partners for this annual clean-up event and celebration!  With Missouri recently declared the "River State", our stewardship and love of neighborhood rivers and creeks has official cache! Since 1999, St. Louisans have proven their love by participating in this annual litter pickup. With the remarkable growth in interest, we've expanded volunteer opportunities to include multiple sites throughout the watershed. Several of these are along scenic Great Rivers Greenway trails!

The 6th annual River des Peres Trash Bash includes a free lunch on Saturday October 18 from 8:00 to 1:00 (rain or shine).  This is an all ages event with multiple cleanup sites located throughout the city and county, and we meet back for a lunch party on the River des Peres Greenway.  Pre-registration is available at http://www.stlmsd.com/what-we-do/what-can-i-do/stream-clean-opportunities

Location : on River des Peres Boulevard between Morganford and Gravois in St Louis Cit; Fultz Field on the River des peres Greenway
